The rules for using Rodas and buying the course.

01Who is behind it

Rodas and Rodas Academy are operated by Axia AI Inc, New York, NY, United States. Contact: hola@rodas.ai.

02What Rodas Academy is

An online course in Spanish, in eight modules, on how to prepare to study in the United States: from understanding the system to arriving on campus. Module 1 is free and opens when you leave your email. Modules 2 to 8 open with a one-time payment.

The content is general guidance. It is made with care, but every case is different: always check with the university, the embassy or a professional before making an important decision.

03What Rodas is not

Rodas is not a university, a visa agency or a law firm. Admissions are decided by universities and visas by the United States government. Rodas takes no part in those decisions and does not promise an outcome: it gives you information and tools so you arrive better prepared.

04Your account

• You sign in with your Google account or with a link we send to your email. There are no passwords, so take care of access to your email.
• The account is personal: one per person, for your own use. Do not share your access or let others sign in with your account.
• You can ask us to delete your account at any time by writing to hola@rodas.ai. If we detect abusive use we may suspend it; we let you know by email.

05The purchase

• The price is shown in US dollars before you pay. It is a one-time payment for full access to the course: no subscription and no recurring charges.
• Payment is processed by Stripe. Rodas does not see or store your card details.
• Access to modules 2 to 8 opens when the payment is confirmed, usually within seconds. If more than ten minutes have passed and you do not see it in your course, write to us from your account email.
• Depending on your country, your bank or Stripe may apply taxes or fees that do not depend on Rodas.

06Refunds

If the course was not what you expected, you can ask for a full refund within 14 days of the purchase by writing to hola@rodas.ai from your account email. When we refund, access to the paid modules closes. After 14 days we do not refund, unless the course stopped working because of a failure on our side.

07Use of the content

The texts, videos, activities and tools in the course belong to Rodas and to those who produced them for Rodas. You may use them for your own preparation. You may not copy, record, resell, publish or share them outside your account.

If you post something in a Rodas community space, when one exists, it remains yours, but you allow us to show it inside Rodas.

08If you are under 18

If you are under 18, you need permission from your mother, father or guardian to create your account, and the purchase must be made by that adult. By buying for a minor, the adult accepts these terms on their behalf. The site is not directed at children under 13.

09Changes and availability

We may update the course content to keep it current; improvements are included in your purchase. If we ever decided to close Rodas Academy, we would let you know by email at least 30 days in advance and you would keep access during that time.

We do our best to keep the site running at all times, but there may be interruptions for maintenance or because of failures at our providers.

10Liability

Rodas is responsible for the service it sells you: access to the course. It is not responsible for decisions you make based on the content, or for the outcome of admissions, scholarships or visas, which do not depend on Rodas. In any case, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the course.

11Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States. If you have a problem, write to us first: almost everything is solved with an email.

12Changes to these terms

If we change something important, we update the date above and email everyone with an account. Continuing to use the site after the notice means you accept the new version.
